We support the Global Compact
This year (2019), we signed our commitment to the UN Global Compact (Global Compact), promoted by the United Nations, which calls on organizations to voluntarily align with the Ten universally accepted Principles to promote sustainable development in the areas of human rights and business, labour standards, the environment, and anti-corruption in companies’ activities and business strategy. It is the world’s largest and most widespread Corporate Responsibility initiative.
At FARO Facility Services, we want to do our part, and we also want to do so actively, taking part in this change directly.
The ten principles of the Spanish Network of the UN Global Compact
Human Rights
- Support and respect the protection of Human Rights.
- Ensure they are not complicit in Human Rights abuses.
Labour Standards
- Uphold freedom of association and the effective recognition of the right to collective bargaining.
- Support the elimination of all forms of forced or compulsory labour.
- Support the eradication of child labour.
- Support the abolition of discriminatory practices.
Environment
- Maintain a precautionary approach that supports the environment.
- Encourage initiatives that promote greater environmental responsibility.
- Support the development and dissemination of environmentally friendly technologies.
Anti-Corruption
- Work against corruption in all its forms.
