At FARO Facility Services, we enjoyed a very special day at Val de Rois Golf Club, a place we know well because we are the company responsible for cleaning its facilities. This time we were able to experience the club as participants.
For most of the team, it was their first time playing golf, and the experience was as educational as it was enjoyable. We learned precision shots at short distances, working on putting technique with activities such as tic-tac-toe or the clock. We also practiced exercises to control the club angle and ball bounce, and performed long shots with a simulator, measuring distance, speed, and trajectory.
We delved into the types of clubs, the stance according to the shot, and hand placement, a key technical detail for precision.
We concluded with one of the most entertaining moments: a small competition among the coaches, Mencía, Jacobo, and Adrián, who showed us technique, control, and very different styles. We would like to highlight the excellent treatment received and the professionalism of the entire team, who guided us with patience, humor, and dedication.
We closed the day with an aperitif and a wonderful meal, in a relaxed atmosphere that strengthened the group’s connection.
It was a day to learn, disconnect, and continue growing as a team. Thank you to Val de Rois Golf Club for their trust and for opening their doors to us from this side as well.
